Curriculum
Our focus is based on the concepts of goals and plans for children to acquire skills and knowledge through developmentally appropriate activities, experiences and learning opportunities.
To guide the children and our staff in this process Little Tigers Preschool uses a research-based, curriculum that aligns with the State of Ohio’s early learning content standards. Our approach utilizes “Creative Curriculum,” a “whole-child approach to education – where children develop not only math and literacy skills but also social-emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.”
This developmentally appropriate approach better prepares children for life well beyond their time in a classroom. The State of Ohio’s early childhood learning and content standards for birth through Pre-K can be viewed below.
